Unboxing and connecting
- Check the clock for transport damage; all segments must come off easily and go back on straight.
- Place the clock on a flat, firm surface. Connect the power supply – both plugs, servos and controller are powered separately.
- Plug in the power supply: the clock extends and retracts all segments once (self-test).
Note: If a segment jams at first start: disconnect the clock from power, remove the segment, place it in the neutral position and start again.
Connect to Wi-Fi
- On your smartphone or laptop choose the network
ServoUhr-Setup(password:servouhr). - The set-up page opens automatically – otherwise open
http://192.168.4.1. - Choose your own Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz), enter the password, save. The clock restarts and connects.
- After connecting, the clock briefly shows its IP address in four blocks on the segments.
Open the web interface
On the same Wi-Fi open http://servouhr.local – or the IP address (start display, router, on Pro by double-clicking the lower encoder). Several clocks on the same network: give each clock its own name under System.
Time and location
- The time is set automatically via internet time servers (with fallback servers, daylight saving automatic). Normal and Pro keep the time even without Wi-Fi and across power failures.
- Normal and up: set the location for the outdoor temperature – “Temperature” card → type the place name → Search → choose the result → Apply. The clock confirms immediately with the current temperature.
