| Symptom | Solution |
|---|---|
| Clock doesn't move anything on power-up | Both power supply plugs connected? |
| Segment doesn't move or jams | Segment run test in the service menu; remove the segment and put it back on straight. |
| Segment sits too high/too low | Fine adjustment in the service menu for this segment. |
| Servo hums at standstill | Reduce the end position in the servo settings in small steps. |
| Time wrong after power failure (Light) | Normal – Light has no battery backup; the time re-synchronises after the Wi-Fi connection. |
| “NTP waiting” in the status line | Check internet access; update older firmware (automatic fallback servers from v16). |
| No “ServoUhr-Setup” Wi-Fi visible | Clock is already connected – read the IP after start; otherwise factory reset under System. |
| servouhr.local not reachable | Look up the IP by double-clicking the lower encoder (Pro), from the start display or in the router. |
| Sleep mode never kicks in | Radar blanking too short – see service menu. |
| Functions locked / clock type wrong | Service menu → set the clock type manually. Encoders are only detected after first use. |
| Temperature shows nothing | Location set under “Temperature”? Check internet access. |
| Update fails (“no”) | Check Wi-Fi stability, trigger again. |
